So here is a mini-photoshoot with the 2 MPS3 (MazdaSpeed 3), Liberty GT and of course the one and only - VRX! (Ralliart).

The Mazda MPS 3 is being traded in for the new Civic Type-R (FN2), so thats why we had the photoshoot!

Ya mate should keep the MPS3 ...... having driven a new Civic, and a close mate owning a Mps3, id take the MPS3 anyday of the week. It's screaming for mods !!

Niiiiice! Black on black looks so menacing! Nice choice in rims. Only suggestion I say is to change the tails to ES or get the RRM ones.

I'd rather have the MazdaSpeed3 over the Civic any day. It made top 10 by almost every mag and was first for fastest fwd. I'm going to assume he's the quickest of the bunch.

Side note, you guys can get a real Civic type "R" there? I thought they were for the JDM market only?

 

Retro...... the new Civic Type R's we get here in AUstralia are the UK manuf ones ......... so no, we dont get the real JDM ones

actually the MazdaSpeed 3 its better than the US CIVIC SI! in somethings, but thats more "pencil and paper", real life not that different, exept that the SP3 has way more Power, which its limited by the ECU in 1,2 and 3 gear

Ill take the Si no matter what.

And about the Type R, thats the EURO version which its not as good as the JDM type R, but it should be comparative or slightly better than the US Civic Si

And I agree with you about the taillamps and about the BLACK ON BLACK looks so so kool!!

Yeah I thought about changing the lights to black but unfortunately I may be selling her sometime down the track, so I've decided not too.

Correct, the MPS is the quickest of the bunch!

In regards to the MPS3 being traded for the Civic Type R, he is doing so because he loves Hondas. He knows the MPS3 is faster in all areas, but for him, its about an overall package (interior, exterior, engine, fuel etc.) Good on him I say, I was beginning to get tired of seeing 2 x MSP in the group. lol.

We actually get the UK edition, not the JDM spec, though I do believe the JDM CTR Sedan (hotness!) will be headed our shores, only detuned (once again). lol.

 

Oh by the way, egk and steve, you both have sexy rims! (If I may say so myself!)

 

Either way, very nice looking cars. I love the black on black. Makes me want my wheels to get here sooner.

the europe type r is a very watered down version of the jap type r. he hes going to miss the speed and handling of the mps . but if he loves hondas, then that si (type r) is what a honda lover aspires to get, i guess. personally, i would stick with the mazdaspeed, way more potential for mods since its turbo. here is my 300whp daily driver beast!:
