Flat black interior and Underside of Spoiler.

At first I tried to paint the dash a charcoal grey but for some reason it came out dark green... I think its cuz I used a white primer... so went with flat black

Also painted the bottom side of my spoiler...

I would like opinions good or bad... Im still up in the air about the spoiler... Plus I only really messed up one area of the paint job and that is in the last pic...figured hell why not.. the worst it could happen is I shove it back in storage and buy RRM's CF one that stands a few inches higher and is a little lighter...

BTW Not on the car yet... still need mounting hardware.. Just set in place for picture taking purposes so if you see gaps between the spoiler and the trunk thats why....

I like it, looks good! Silver and black are always a good combo. Interior looks better than that fake cf.

What made you paint the underside of the spoiler... I would never had thought of that, even in a drunken stupor!

cleaning up that line will be a cinch even after its sat for awhile and dried cuz its just overspray from the tape coming up a little... a razor blade and some acetone should do the trick just fine..

thanks for the compliments...

Thinking about doing the inside bottom of the rear lip next...

Well originally I wanted to remove the third brake light but didn't want to fill the space in with bondo(too much of a chance of it cracking out), I fabricated an aluminum plate to cover the area where the light sits but it rattled to all hell with my subs in even with spacers making it a nice tight fit... And it looks really out of place even with the plate overlapping onto the spoiler covering the space...

A buddy had recommended that I paint the whole thing black but I didn't really like that idea so I have been thinking about painting just the bottom for a couple weeks now... I figured the worst could happen is it look like total isht... So I just taped it off and went to town...

Trim isn't too difficult to remove. Remove the gauge cluster surround and radio/ac surround, there's a couple screws, then everything just snaps out.

I saw a car in a mag recently, it was a Gallardo or something that had its exterior in flat black with orange detailing
It was done in vinyl so when you inevitably missed having a shiney car you could just peal it off, but it looked dead sexy.
pretty freaking stealthy i must say
