Real JDM look
My understanding about the JDM look is having the bare minimal of visual mods and that includes interior - so you would have a very factory bodykit, USD or JDM all the same kit - dark coloured light weight race rims - no carpet just a painted floor - no doof doof head unit to listen to music ( just need your iPod) carbon fibre or kevlar race seats half roll cage with 5 point race harness... and of course the traditional sponsor race decals plastered all over the car
^^^ that's a little extreme! JDm is jsut a clean, OEM kit look and a clean OEM interior...jsut like the RA's or Lancer's who do the EVo steering wheel, Evo seats, rear diffuser thing, the wing (even though it attracts a lot of attention), lightweight rims, lip kits vs. body kits and keeping it simple!!
but on the other hand, i don't think the EVO's can really follow the honda/acura JDM look since they come with massive wings, vented hoods, wide fenders, etc. It won't have that "stealthy" JDM look the honda's will have. JDM gets tossed around too often and has lost its real meaning. Was there ever even a real meaning to the term "JDM" in the first place? Who started it? The honda fans with the their EK civics and integra's? If that's where it all started, to narrow it down, then i think its a honda thing!!
We could all say we drive JDM cars too...we have parts from japan on ours cars, more so evo guys, but i think you guys get the point!

JDM started to mean JDM, Japanese Domestic Market, just like USDM means US domestic market. People started throwing it around on their cars when they wanted people to think their car was a japanese model car. And in this case, stealthy, and jdm would be 2 different things. Stealthy means sleeper, nothing crazy, and jdm means made in japan. The evo can have a sleeper look with a lowpro spoiler, but nowadays, more people know about it so u might as well go with what looks good.
