Cool. You can send me Zeitronix logs and we can help you with a little remote tuning.

precisely what we need pre-tune AFR logs for; want to find out how far off the base tune is with EVERYTHING RRM sells if you do any tuning before the dyno the logs you show us will be partially tuned and not a clear representation of the car on the base tune. I'm trying to hammer this out so the advice we give to anyone talking about tuning the piggyback is correct. there have been statements made recently that you don't need to tune the piggyback, no matter what the modification. only datalogs and dyno charts are going to prove that statement though, because common sense would suggest it's a load of horse poo. we all appreciate the time and attention you are giving to this matter, ssp.

Basic external mods don't need a retune. They may benefit from a retune but not required. SS-RA has done a lot mods so we want to see him retune for maximum effeciency.

from the piggyback maps thread. in response to this question.

I'm not trying to start anything, but I do want the correct information. you never clarified in the piggyback maps thread; I'm still looking for the difference between the base tune and a fully modded RA (or close to it as sam was suggesting, he's lacking a head and cam in his question...) you said cam, which is a bigger change than what sam was suggesting, but the way you posted makes me wonder if we are all wasting our money on your piggyback since the ECU learns by itself

I would imagine you are getting back to the 10's on the map (stock fueling) with all the air your getting in to make ~13.3.

vids=not a measuring tool. sorry, but EGK made that point with his video. you can make a pinto sound fast if you rev it up and shift fast enough time slips or dyno sheets are the only way you're gonna get props on how fast your car is/could be. the former for drivers the latter for bolt on boys

exhaust is a little loud for my liking, but at least it's not ricer more like racer

do you not have a wideband? have you not had the piggy tuned from RRM's base map? I am pretty sure you have answered that before, but it's not my car so I don't remember. If not, I would be wary of driving at WOT too much; the base map has proven to be lean on a few cars and your mods are not going to help that.
yep thats true, I just post it 4 the guy that said something like
"WOW thats FAST!!!! its faster than my car before i went Turbo"
I guess his car before going turbo was stock, thats the only way, cause on the Vids the car doent look fast at ALL!, he is more like cruising and steping on the pedal for 1 or 2 seconds on every gear till hitting like 60mph or so..

also its obvious my car looks faster, cause im driving alone, and the guy said he had a passenger

Wow that Car looks Fast as HELL!! " the egk-69 one"

I wasn't even to the floor on my car because i am running lean.....why sacrifise my motor.....even so your car may seem to rev faster but do you have the torque to be able to beat me? If you think you can then with all means come to cali and race me on the track......vids don't mean anything to me.....i just made them for some people to see what the acceleration looks like....everyone knows i am not tuned or anything.....you are just like most people i know....quick to judge but nothing to back it up.....I am working on the dyno and time slip....what about you? Enough said...

calm down killer. you didn't say anything about your throttle position until after someone pointed it out, and if you didn't realized that posting vids of your car and asking for opinions was going to get you opinions no one is saying your car is slow, they are saying "whoopdeedoo, another grainy youtube video." It's not your posts in particular, it's the entire idea. egk is just pointing out the fact that you weren't pushing the car. and the reasons you didn't you and I agree on; It's not tuned so don't treat it like it is.
