04 & 05 they were optional. Mitsu had 3 options, plain old railliart, sun & sound pakage and S&S with side impact air bags in the seats. Mine is the S&S with out the side air bags. Makes life easy.

My stock seats were heavy especially with the airbag. Probably weighed over 40lbs. My Status Racing seats could be lifted one on top of each other no problem(with brackets)

Click my sig it's all there.
What kind of process did you have to go through to do that, because I switched my OZ seats with airbags to ralliart seats without, and would like to make it legal. I'm in Canada as well. Did your insurance have a fit about it?

PM with some details if you could. Thanks

So after reading that over, it seems like you need a medical reason or something along those lines, what did you state?

Btw, did this have any effect on your insurance? Did your rates go up or anything because of doing something suspicious like changing airbag status.

Just looking into doing it legal, and wanted to be ready for what I might expect.
