Suicide vs Lambo

you've never seen any other car with lambo or suicide doors on it? lol... i find that really hard to believe. and if your father can do it for 50 bucks a piece then go at it. if he can do a good job and give you exactly what you want for 50 bucks then i would say that is money well spent. but if you were to pay the "normal" price for this kind of a mod, well, like i said, i wouldn't get your hopes to high. good luck nonetheless. post some pics when it's all done.
that's fine then dude. not trying to rain on your parade or anything. if that's what you like then go for it. it's just i've seen more than a couple of civics, integra, altimas, ::insert any other random car here:: out here in cali with suicide or lambo door conversions and i don't think i've ever seen one i liked. but again if that's what you like then i'm not trying to stop you... i just really don't understand why someone would pay that much for it, even though i know yours will be cheaper.

yes and there's a reason for that!!! most people with evos would rather spend $3,000 on an FP Red and a tune not lambo doors!
Go ahead and do it man, **** on what people think. If you like it do it. Where im from I could cover my car in duct tape and it would still be nicer than most of the bags of **** rollin on the roads around here. Its your car, therefore go with your opinion. If you dont like you just change it back... end of story.
But watch out doing poppers on suicide doors if you park outside in the winter for long amounts of time. A couple of my buddys have shaved doors and in the winter the poppers dont like to work it seems like.

damn it i never told him not to do it nor do i care if everyone in ohio is rolling around in a piece of **** car. I personally don't understand the decision. Why would someone spend typically $2,000 to $3,000 (argueably a third to half the value of the car itself in a lot of cases) to put some really lame and really played out door hinges on their car. therefore, seeing as how this guy obviously was interested in this idea, i thought i would ask him what the motivation for it was. he told me. he wants to be unique and he's getting it for a price that even the duct tape ohio car's could afford. he answered my question. that was settled. we have different tastes and different opinions like everyone on here. i believe this thread was started to get opinions on the whole "suicide vs lambo" concept. i gave mine.
lol im not hating on your car i have only had my evo for about a month, and in order to get the thing i had to trade my 2003 lancer OZ Rally in. i loved that car. so don't think i'm another evo owner hating on the lancers. i owned one for 3 years, and most people don't even notice i got a new car.... let's all just have a

I personally would not put suicide or lambo doors on my car, why ?? well if your about GO then the added weight wont be a welcome thing, and i personally think there is some show and go but in that there is a point as to where the show actually takes away from the go. I am not someone that likes to put speakers in his car that weigh in at 80 pounds worth of sterio equipment ect. That would also go with door mods, personally 3,000 could be spend in another, better form. also i know he said 50 dollars, well unfortunatly there is a reason that those kits cost 3,000 dollars and not 50 to 100. I am not saying anything about your dads abilities but there are reasons for it. I would say if you went with just suicide in the back that that would be cool as there isnt any wight gain but doing lambo would add to much poundage for me. Suicide is easy to do anyways, just a pain to get the door to line up right again but simple mod for cheap money. I dont think its played out as stated above. This is just my 2 cents.
