projector problems

i noticed i lost my interior HVAC, radio, passenger front and rear running lights all at once.checked the fuses. it was a 7.5 amp blew. BUT NOW my ebay projector on the side that went out, the halo stopped working. is there a fuse before the ballast? is there any other over-protection devices that i could be overlooking before i start tearing apart? if there isnt a way to fix, does anyone know what i could disconnect on the opposite side so it doesnt look so bad. its almost like she has a black eye! hahahaha! get it? yeah i kno not funny.

I don't know how to fix it because mine went out on the left side... i just turned the halos off by separating the plugs on both sets of white wires per headlight

How long have you had them installed for and which Ebay vendor did you buy from?? I've heard mixed reviews about getting them from Ebay. I've heard good things about the ones that Revotec sells, but they typically run about $240 for the set.

The only issue I've heard about regarding Revotec is condensation inside the housing, but all you need to do is run a bead of silicone around the seal and that's it.

try disconnecting the halos by pulling the wires out, then putting in new 7.5 fuses and see of they still blow. same situation happened to me and i did what i just said and it fixed everything. i have useless halos in my projectors though

My driverside halo is out.. I just pulled the plug on the other one. They look sick at night but pointless if you have one out. One day I'll pull it out and try to retrofit something else in there that's a bit more.. reliable.

Is there anyway to pull out the halo wire entirely even those tiny boxes that power the halos? I have mine just sitting in there not doing anything... I'm afraid if I cut the wires something will go wrong

I don't know how yours are wired up but mines have cable connectors for all the wires. So if I unplug the wires going to the halo I'm all set. Just tape up the ends really went to make sure they don't get water in em'.

I actually prefer the no halo look. When I unlock my car only two small lights light up now, and no halo. I didn't like the halo look, but wanted the projectors. Maybe when I get off my butt I'll fit some real projectors into them because my cutoffs are about as crooked as a drunk driver's path.

the cutoff is really bad, but the best anyone can do is at least aim it so its at least straight
