We were gonna just drop the tranny, but I had just placed a big order with RPW so now we are putting in new cams, cam gears, pistons, body panels, head, valves, connecting rods, shifter bushings, lowering springs, etc. Whole project is just alot easier with the engine out.

Thanks, I am gonna swap out the evo 7 steering wheel with a 9, if I can ever find a good one. Gonna redo the stiching on the seats and make them blue, going to get a shift boot that is black with blue stiching, and a leather center console lid with the same leather and blue stiching, I have replaced all bulbs in the gauge cluster with blue as well, and I need to find blue needles.
Big thanks to dave@accolade as well, he has assisted me in buying new body panels.
However progress is slowing down on the dohc engine and awd swap, due to the economy, so I can only focus on one thing @ a time.

I will start this weekend, have not worked on the car in a few months, no can do for a dyno b4, as the car has been down for 6 months, but all I had before was RRM CAI and RRM Intake Manifold.
A question for all of you?
Should I put my stage 3 cam and cam gears in now OR wait till I get new pistons and head?
I want to do it now but I may be over cammed.

my guess is that you should be ok upgrading the cam without doing the pistons. but you might want to do the cam and head at the same time. it'll cut your labor in half. But as far as reliablity wise, you dont NEED to build your motor up, just for a cam, unless the cam is so aggressive its giving you hundreds of horsepower and you blow a pistons or rod. doubtful lol.
the only thing you should look into upgrading is the valvetrain. Springs, stainless steal valves, retainers. all the fun stuff. the only bad thing i can see happening with a stage 3 cam on a stock top end is getting valve float from the stock valve train. looking into upgrading your valvetrain, and to save money on labor, do the head, camshaft, cam, and valve train all at once. Just my .02

*UPDATE sorry no pics
I have Wiseco 20mm over pistons I need to put in, raises compression to 10.5.
I also have a large RRM order, which includes
RRM Stage 2 head
Underdrive pully
Motor mounts
Rear strutbar
Lower tie bar
