4300k hid fogs
i was originally going to go for the 3000K set, thats what i told him to order but they sent 4300 instead which according to the supplier is yellow. (i beg to differ) either way they're bright as hell, and i'm now trying to decide wether to stay with the 4300K or, send them back for the 3000K... either way, here are some pics!

ya, i think i'm going to tell him to order the right bulbs in. wont cost me a thing to replace them, seeing as it was their screw up. do you have pics of your 3000K fogs?? from the car lookin out?
if its not too much trouble can you take a picture of how you wired up your fogs? I want to get 3k HID fogs to go w/ my HID lows but im not sure how to get into the housing and route the wires as we have to screw the backing in shut and iono if i want to drill through it or something. a picture would greatly help =]

i did exactly what you just said. had to drill the cap out a bit to allow for the thing to close cause the buld is too long. sealed it up with a lil silicone to keep water and moisture out. the whole is big enough to allow the wiring to come out the cap aswell. pretty easy, give'r hell!
Looks good you should take a few pix with the running lights on backed up to your garage , tap on the brakes and take the picture. I just had a vision of it from your pic . I think it would look dope.. Anyway just a thought.
take a 1/4'' inch bit, drill a starter hole, then i grabbed a uni-bit and just went up step by step untill it cleared. the bottoms of some bulbs in diffent kits may differ, so just go step by step on the uni-bit till you have the clearance
I've recent changed the bulbs out for the 3000k and put 8000k ones in my headlights... I have yet to get flashed also which is kinda shocking, although I have them aimed down a little more than normal to help with the oncoming traffic
4300K is definitely not yellow. It is about as close to "white" as you'll get, especially for amount of light output you'll receive. 3000k is the yellow look you'll want. 6000k is about as high as I like to go on any retro setups. 8000k gets too blue for my tastes.
