So is lowering it. You know most of the people here dont take their cars off-road.

What proof do you have that were riding on bump stops around a corner?

Looks good though. Lowering it looks better than stock 4x4 stance

SyZyGy1394 I do appreciate that you feel like what you're doing is a good thing to warn people about whatever parts that you may feel are inferior. However the RA aftermarket is not as extensive as the one for the Evo as you already probably know. We get what we can for our car and as most of us know, the RA isn't really meant to do offroading so please dont jump to conclusions as that is what all of us do.

The springs dont drop the car that much to say that you'll be riding on bump stops. If you have a problem with the company though at least please provide an explanation as to why you feel that way and maybe it'll be taken as less bashing but more given knowledge. I'd say more than likely most of the RA owners out there are looking for more looks than performance if anything when buying springs (not to say that they dont want both) but we take whatever parts will work with the car that have semi-reputable backgrounds cause again we dont have as many options as you.

Specify which company do you think I have a problem with?

In the evo world, swift are one of the best "spring" solutions you can get. Mainly because they satisfy the ricers which want to lower their car, but also actually design the spring rate according the dampener's valving. So your best bet would be to do some research if they can make a set for you, or find another company that actually makes the right spring.

I personally know an evo that has tein springs on it. It's rather entertaining to watch it bounce around. Too bad its not his daily, as I'm sure the dampeners would blow a lot sooner.

I also know someone who has tein coilovers on their evo and they would have been better off with the stock kyb struts.

Let me take the car for a spin and I am sure I can easily hit the bump stops.

Edit: who cried to the mods and had my posts deleted? Don't like being proved wrong?

And yes I know the aftermarket for the RA is not very extensive, but that doesn't mean you should settle for less, like the guys who bought RRM turbo kits and failbacks.

Having something custom made, isn't as bad price wise as you think it may be.

If you don't have something constructive to say then don't post. Its apparent the OP likes the look of the car and could care less about the pro an cons of it. I had my car that low for over 4 years and never scraped.

I take it you don't do anything fun with your car anyways?

Besides going to school? No, not really. I dont drive the car to the point of hitting the bump stops because the car is not really made to do that or any kind of decent cornering for that matter.

While some of your posts have informational value to them i think they are misdirected. If the OP asked if that setup was good for auto x i would say go buck wild with your information. Truth is that hes not an most of the guys that own the car dont race. They just want the car to look a little better for a decent price.
