Does anyone know the price on mitsu tails for an 04 lancer, or what lights will fit so I can get rid of these altezzas?

 

the altezzas do look crappy,you can just tint them red,or just buy a 2002 oz rally/es lancer taillights,whether stock or aftermarket,i think so,u just have to try or talk to an experienced ralliart owner that changed his taillights,or a oz/es lancer that put on some ralliarts on

 

just use the 04 tail lights out of the es or ls. there the clear red

 

If you want I will sell you mt stock 02 Lancer tails. I am not sure if they fit or not but they look like they would.

what does everyone want for their tails? I will call mitsu and see if they will fit, I don't really want to buy some and see that they don't fit.

Sorry to burst your bubble but, the 02' 03' tail lights won't fit the 04' Lancer's. The 04' ES tails will fit and they are red. The rear quarter panels on the 04' is wider than the earlier models.

 

That is what I was afraid of. They looked the same size, but I didn't measure them or anything. I don't understand why car companies are making their cars stock with altezzas now, I don't really know anyone who likes them. But I guess I will look for some 04's. Thanks EvoShmo.

 

i just looked the part numbers and the dementions are the same. im sitting in parts right now

 

It's the rear bumper that throws it all off. I tried personally

just trade with a fellow '04 es/ls/oz owner.. im pretty sure at least one of them would want the altezzas and are willing to trade plus cash..

 

No problem xstephenx. I was going to switch the tails in my OZ. When I tried it they didn't fit. I thought they would at least keep the body demensions the same, I was wrong.

 

i think it would be cool if they were gunmetal altezzas

 

hey i wonder if the EVO tails would fit? Well those are still altezzas but...

 

The Evo tails won't fit anything but the Evo. The corners of the lights are shaped totaly different.
