Hello everyone. I am new to this site and I have a general question. I am in the process of buying a 04 Ralliart lancer and I was wondering if it is possible to use the guage cluster from the evolution lancer in this car. I like the tach in the middle of the cluster like on the evolution. Can sombody help?

 

I think it comes with the 7's Guages?

na, the guage of the ralliart looks like the OZ's. i think u could use the evo 8 guage cluster tho. its just bout the witing dats different.

 

May be I'm wrong, but I think the RA has the same center consol as the Evo.

 

The gauge cluster is like the EVO VII gauge cluster not the VIII. Also the mph on the Ralliart goes to 130 not 170 like the EVO VII.

 

My guess is that they would be pretty much plug'n'play. They both display the same things(besides dirt/tarmac/gravel for jdm models). I would just find someone who is selling a gauge cluster from the VII and have them take a picture of the harness to see if it is the same as yours.

I would think that it would be plug and play. The guage cluster on the 2003 es lancer is interchangable with the one in the oz rally edition. It would probably just depend on if the rear connectors from the wiring harness is the same. I really like the evoulution cluster because I like the tachometer being in the middle and I also think the 170mph speedo is cool to have in your car. I am planning to modify my car pretty heavily when I get it. I am already purchasing my parts before I get the car so that I can immediately put them on. I want to do a turbo in the future and the stock guages in the RA go to 130. If I were to reach a speed of over 130mph I would like to know how much over im going. This is where the evolutions guages come in handy. If the readings were correct after the guage swap you could actually see how fast over 130 you are going. I probably wont ever attempt to go this fast but it just looks cool in the car if any of you understand what im trying to say. Anyway here is a picture of the guages that I want in replacement of the RA's stock guages. They rock

i have a JDM evo 7 gauge cluster for sale.its all in KM/H.it has ACD indicator on it and everything.has the non-US idiots lights.also on the little gauge area where it says lancer on the US gauge.on the JDM it says evolution.hit me up if your interested or anyone for that matter

Think about the odometer...

 

Boomz I hate to tell you but the odometer is a part of the car that is sent by the ecu. The dash or guage cluster has nothing to do with showing how many miles a car has. I don't appreciate you trying to make anyone look dumb with smart comments like that. If it was that simple to change milage on a car just think, everyone would buy a new guage cluster to reduce mileage. Anyway I want a guage cluster that shows mph like the us evolution 8. I have one question, does it hook up the same way as the Ralliart, the reason I ask is because the tach and mph or switched in the Ralliart. If will hook-up and work the right way that would be awesome.
