Post Your 04-06 Ralliart Snow Pics/Vids!

Using my intense brain power, I realized that in some places, snow comes with winter! I'll give you a second to absorb that. Ok. After I let my brain cool in the nice blizzard use Newfoundlanders just got hit with, I figured I would start a 2012 Winter Photo/Video Thread.

I'll get it started by posting this:

I took this today at about 1:30 PM (I got home about 20 minutes before). It was calling for 10 cm but we got with, so far, ~20 cm. It is calling for another 10 cm on Thursday and a, "MONSTER" Blizzard on Friday. Friday's storm is supposed to last 30 hours with an accurate measurement from our highly trained meteorologists of, "significant snowfall". The way I look at, just more photos to post.

Here is a 4 second video of a snow plow that managed to miss the road and nearly topple into a ditch. My apologies about quality and sloppiness.

In my opinion, your not missing out on anything. Winter sucks; especially when places, such as Newfoundland, use salt on the roads. Also, there is nothing fun about waking up and having to shovel/snow blow, and/or scrap the ice off windows.

Driving in the winter is definitely entertaining, but, personally, I don't think it out weighs the bad. (Shovelling, snowblowing, scraping ice, taking forever for your car to heat up, car is always dirty, etc, etc, etc...)

AWD is nice in snow, Owned a few Jeeps before the RA.
FWD in snow is good too. My RA has never had any problems in the snow while driving unless I force it to slide.
RWD is what sucks the most in snow. You slide everywhere if you aren't careful.

I learned in a few large parking lots during big snow storms.
Use to do donuts in the Jeep in the high school parking lot back in the day.
Then I recently found myself near the Toyota factory here in KY and 'borrowed' one of their parking lots for a while!
