OK....I want an opinion from you all.....First of all I'm debating lowering my car at all....I love the look and the lower ride quality of a car.....But, there are a few things I am concerned about....
First.......Factory Warranty....I don't want to void that....
Second....I don't keep cars for long, so not sure how well it would go when I trade in
Third.....I only want to lower in front (I hate the gap in the front between the tire and the fender, but in the back it looks fine)...
Fourth.....what should I use if I do all around lowering or just the front....springs, coilovers, adjustable coilovers, shocks.....i feel so lost....hehe....

yeah I think you would get a wierd ride trying to lower just the front. I think for one, the spring rate difference would really cause some sloshiness from the front to the back. By lowering your car you will only void the warranty on the stock shocks and struts, it is not like they will void your engine warranty or anything. What to use to lower would depend on your budget and what you are looking for. If I was just going for a lower look I would go cheap and just put in some springs. But if I was going for all out performance I would put in some adjustable coilovers. That is just my opinion on lowering. Of course I would just save up for fully adjustable CO, but you will not find any for the RA yet.

i dont no why people keep thinking that there is not any coil overs out for the RA, but there is. I got skunk 2s on my yellow RA. i donno if there for the RA or 02 03 lancer, but the shop ordered it and put it on so what ever model its for it worked fine. I got a lil noise coming from the front tho, friend said its just some rubber peice making the noise.

The only springs i have found so far have been on the Road Race Site. They seem to lower the car a little bit, but an even drop. As for warranty, I thought i heard of other people on this forum, dealers installing springs
lkwdkuraj02, that sounds the best way to go, it's not expensive. gizzerboy, it doesn't sound like your skunk2 coilovers are made for our cars if they make noise.

all around (just a lil bit)...the car will feel unbalanced if only the front, and when you are low, things get anyoyed...trust me I had a 2-2.5 dropped accord once.....slammed and cool looking but a pain in the ***
I spoke with Gabriel today at Road Race and he said the springs they sell gives the car a very even look, which is good.....and he said that the springs they sell also work good because it doesn't slam the car, just lowers it enough to not be annoying.....I think I will be going with that sometime soon....
I got a good up close look at the Tein coilovers on the RRM RA yesterday and that is CLEAN! I am thinking about waiting. They did say that the rear will sit a little lower than the coilovers did. But the Teins are adjustable and more $$$. They also said the progerss springs are nice.
