Hey man....do you know if the front or rear door speaker grills come off to allow you to swap out speakers easily or do you need to remove the inner door panel?? Thanks

nope, you have to tke the door panel for the front seats to change the speakers, but the rear speakers, behind the headrest, that thing wwayyyy easier the change, unscrew it and it'll come off

Damn....I was SORTA hoping that it would be easy to through the speakers in. Have you done your door speakers yet?

I have NO idea why you'd want two? Unless One is a DVD monitor and the other is a stand alone HU....

Unless I'm missunderstanding your question.

OK, about 10 posts down on page 1 there is a photo showing 2 HU in the car. Why 2? What would that give you that you couldn't get with 1?

That's an Alpine PXA-H700 in the top position. It's their DSP/Dolby Digital Decoder Unit. Pretty cool stuff.

Headunit...

With the sun/sound package has anyone made the converter for the speakers yet.. the round plug thingy. I want to install my headunit but wish to keep the factory speaker for now...

Looks good. Now if I can just get a DVD player for DVD audio with a yellow display I would be doing my own upgrade.
