What are they made of? I noticed that they were 'unpainted', and wonder if they are plastic? I always thought they'd be vinyl, and I wouldn't know how to paint them once they were on the car...

Thoughts?

you have a body shop paint them, then you install with 3m double sided tape

EDIT: they are usually made from fiberglass

OZ03 - Thanks! I'm glad - I was a little concerned about having to paint vinyl, or something like that!

Are they usually 'finished', would you think? Or would you think we'd have to sand them or finish them properly?

I bought them from Accolade, and there was no sanding needed. They cost me 45 shipped to my house and then painting was an extra 30. Kind of expensive for painting, but living in a ****ty college town will tend to do that to prices.

Hey Dave@Accolade - any chance of putting a "Group Buy" together on these? I was thinking you could offer $40 USD, shipping included to U.S. Customers, and $40 USD, $10 USD Shipping to Canadian Customers...

What do you think? First 10 in the door gets that deal? (If you say 'yes', consider me #1!)
