Talking Getting a paintjob...

Well, after running my car into a guard rail I'm going to probably end up getting a whole new paint job out of it. I don't really want to pay my 1000 dollar deductable just to get the same color I already had (silver) So I've decided I'm going to paint it a whole new color. Just not sure what to get? I really like metallic blues, midnight blues with flakes in the paint etc. but I'm not sure what I should get. Help me find out what to get. Can anyone post some pictures of cars with rare colored paint? I want to be the only RA in the world that has a paintjob other then stock so far

if you get your RA painted blue, I will pissed. That was the only thing I didn't like, how the RA didn't come in blue.

Do it, though! It would look fantastic.

I agree I think it would look real nice. See if you can get a pearl color with the reflective flakes...it might stand out a little more. Nice either way...Go for it!

Blue would be very nice...and according to the dealer here in town I could get mine in blue...but considering it's not listed on the site, and I've seen no ref to blue being available for the ra I dunno....but if I can get it I'm going to...

as for color...if you want something that'll get noticed at the track and really help you stand out, I think this looks pretty sharp on the right car...

I'm sure it probably looks better in person. But that color Isn't quite my style. I'm not sure what they're going to do. I need to find a place that will give me a high estimate first.

getting reflecive paint flecks and chagning the color will cost a lot more. my suggestion is get it repainted silver even if it doesnt match perfect bc nobody will really notice two diff shades of silver in your door wells, engine bay, etc. do you have pics of the damage?

of course, just go to the thread titled: "my car got in a fight with a guard rail"

The thing is, I want to come out a winner with this one. I don't want to pay to have my car look how it already look. I like silver if I had to keep it stock, but why not spice it up if I end up having the opportunity. Which I will if I can get a high estimate etc. Not necessarily something with reflective paint that will cost 6+ grand, but maybe a flat base color. Blue? Even if I were to get plain blue or blue by you I'd have the only RA in the states that is blue so just that factor alone will make my RalliArt unique.
