Eyelids on Phoenix Red RA
Hi all, a day late but here are the pictures of my newly painted eyelids (Accolade, thanks Dave!).
Looks good! the car is a bit dirty though on the pics. but it doesn't show much

dude i like the mesh and the inserts....i think i'll copy u man...especially meshing the lower part......i'm also thinking of putting a neon down there below my license plate...nice ride dude....even for a red one...hehe

thanks guys. I appreciate all feedback.
-yep the eyelids are Accolade's (bought with the group buy on this board)
-I did paint them myself (same as the grille)
-the lower mesh was installed by my dealer for 75$ canadian and I used the left overs to do the mesh behind my painted grilles.
I used double sided tape to stick them onto the headlights if anyone asks....

yeah I know but I didn't want to take off the bumper on my own..... maybe I should've.
I wanted at least that part of my car to look professionnal. and actually it was 35$ cdn
for the mesh and the remaining was for the time it took them to install it.
not too bad. Better off paying that and making the grilles on my own than paying 300$
for the "stock" mesh grilles they sell. and I like this look better! to each his own I guess.

how did you paint the eyelids? what kind of paint did you use? ive wanted to order eyelids for a while but ive been avioding it because of the painting situation

I went to my local car parts shop which has a paint department and asked the guy to mix me up a can of paint for a RA phoenix Red. looks in his catalog, gets the right recipe and BAM. as easy as that.
that kind of paint is expensive though , 25$ CDN for a can. but it matches perfectly with the original paint.
