so why not just get the full evo 8 conversion kit from accolade and call it the evo9 kit?...cus thats what it looks like

I'm simply relaying some interesting news to you. Just looking out for those that may want an alternative to Accolade and their price inflation tactics!! Thats all ... nothing more and nothing less.

Hey i remember that evo9 post because i posted the picture of it, it would be awsome if they come out with a kit that looked like it. And all you guys out there dam give nick 622 some breathing room your jumpin down his throat. I think you will all be suprised with the look of the kit if it is suposed to look like he new evo9.

It's funny how u guys try to get body kits to convert a lancer into an EVO. I dont mean to talk trash to everybody, but do you guys realize that by the time you done modding your ralliart or lancer, you have enough money to get a real EVO? I see people do that with their civics too, and it doesnt make any sense whatsoever. Maybe the money doesnt amount up to the cost of a new EVO, but Im sure it will to a used one. I dont know about you guys, but I would rather drive the real thing. It's kinda embarrassing driving a lancer that looks like an EVO and got made fun of by those v8s.

most of us paid less than 15K for our cars and add a body kit thatll be like 2K and stg2 rrm kit and that is 5K and taht only equals 22K, which i think is a few K lesss than a used evo, plus many ppl prefer the look of their lancer over the evo. v8s make fun of evos anyway, so theyll be making fun of a modded lancer or a evo.

 

That's IT!!!! When can I get an EVO X (10) kit? I'll show all of you. I will b ethe only EVO 10 out there. Mitsubishi will have to follow and make the real EVO 10 look just like my car because I am going to trademark it!!!!

Who cares what a kit is called. They have EVO 3 kits for Civics. Save you energy for that kinda stuff. If I put and EVO 5 kit on my Escalade and call it an EVO 15 will you be mad and flame me too?

Hahha, since when did you guys see a vv8s makin fun of an EVO? Even supras guys that I meet up dont make fun of the EVO. They knew far well of the EVO can do. I have ran with a couple of v8s, and I none even make a any kind of remarks. Most just stare at me with envy. I'm sorry if I come out to be anti-lancer or ralliart. I dont mean to offend anybody here, but simply trying to help some of you. Well, I dont think im very helpful here, so I just simply get my *** out of the lancer forum. Once again, sorry guys.

 

i wasnt really offended jsut explaining some ppls rationale. ive known transams and gt's to make fun of them. actually dont know of any v8 guys that havent made fun of it really. always calling it rice.

 

U kidding right? Transams making fun of evo and calling it rice? That's harlarious. I have raced many of them they all have the sad face of defeat by a 4banger turbo. Most even give me a thumb up. I dont know about where you live buddy, but here in H-town, no v8s come near my evo except modded cobra and z06. I have never heard any v8s guy around here calling the evo rice. For those v8s guy calling the evo rice, I think because they are envy and got pissed off bc they got spanked by a 4banger. When we are talking about street racing, it's mainly a straight line run. That doesnt even come near to what the EVO is all about. As far as the 22k estimate that some1 on here stated, that wont get you a used evo, but 4K more and you are there; even a brand new one. I think it's more than just a turbo add-on. You need some internal mods if you want some serious performance. Even then, what about the suspension work? So are you guys seeing what I'm saying? And you guys like the look of a lancer over the EVO? hahahhaah...that's the funniest thing I have ever heard on this forum. Seriously... If that statement is true, then why in the world did you guys titled this thread "EVO 9 Body-Kit!!"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but arent you guys trying to make ur lancer look like an evo? If the EVO is not here in the U.S and if it is not so cheap, I would see the rational behinh the covertion or the urge to modify a lancer. But why when you can get it for about the same price as a well-modified lancer. I know I pissed off alot of ppl in this thread, but I got alittle carry away when some1 asked me about my ability to rationalize.
