Unhappy *CRY* got a scratch!!!

Only 2 weeks old and I got a scratch in my Lancer My buddy and I were putting the Sirius antenna on the roof. He was feeding the wire down to me from the outside. Leaned down into the door and said Hey man, you see this scratch u got here? I looked at it, looked at his belt...I was pissed. I think it's just in the clear coat though so I should be able to buff it out, I hope. Just had to rant a bit.

Worse will happen, today I was chilling at a parking lot with friends and found a little dent in my car that was deep as hell. It was deep enough to make the paint start to chip. I'm almost positivie now somebody shot my car with a bb gun. I'm so pissed right now. I have to fill it and touch up paint it. Definately wont look like stock no more! AGH! I hate people who do that kind of stuff!

Don't sweat it man, this ****'ll happen. After a while, you'll learn to ignore it. Cars get dings man, it happens. Some biotch railed my door with a damn shopping cart when it too was only 2 weeks old, left 3 dings and a miniature scratch. Pisses me off whenever i get a wash, cause it stands out even more.- but i think most of it is just mental, nobody else ever notices. it get's easier after the first scratch/ding.

Yeah, we all have stories about scratches. I live in an apartment complex, I park my pearl white Ralliart in a carport so I can avoid dents although it's not completely covered like having an enclosed garage. My car is only 4 weeks old and someone's stupid cat took a ride down my hood with it's claws out (fighting for traction with the fresh wax job I guess). Hoping it's only in the clear coat so I can buff it out. Gonna have to get a car cover now, which is totally insane since I'm paying monthly for a carport?!@#$$. What can you do?

yea.. worse always happens.. i have scratches all over my car, from hugging turns tightly and bushes sticking out or something.. Could care less anymore, i still park like a jackass still in order to prevent dents... I also have a trashed front bumper skirt that was ripped out of it's mounts (half of it) and pulled under the car when i hydroplaned and hit a curb. It's all good, it still drives

I know it's not a dent, but I'm the type of guy who rarely gets the water hose out and does a full monty car wash by myself, ya know? The one day I do it, sweatin in my drawls and all, I come back out after I figure the Tire Wet is dry, and there is like 3 HUGE PUDDLES OF BIRD F'N CRAP ON MY HOOD/HEADLIGHTS!

Granted, no where near as bad or as permanent as a scratch, but definitely just as initially heartbreaking........

Hey Fifty1Fifty, I'm thinking about one of those Sirius units for my RA. Can you tell me a bit about it and did you have to drill a hole(shudder!) to mount the antenna? I'll PM you if taht's OK.
