I'm almost certain that I read somewhere on this board that Mitsubishi is offering grill mesh for the RA. Is that right or am I going buggy?

 

That is correct. It comes stock on the 2005 RA. You can purchase it from the dealership for an obsene price (in the $200 range.) Much cheaper if you make it yourself. The only reason I have the factory mesh grille is because I made them include it as an incentive for me to purchase the car, so no cost.

 

i heard somebody that got an 05 ra on the forums here somewhere said that it didnt come with the grill, maybe i misread though. If you wanna see pics of it installed, look in my sig for the link to my cardomain page. I got it off www.mitsubishiparts.net for 190.

 

It doesn't come stock on the 05 RA it's now an option called the sport package.

Thanks guys. It looks like Mitsu is trying to do something about that ugly frontend. I personally think it would look much better without those louvers. I'm pretty sure it will be my next project.

 

you know.... the front end has really grown on me. Or maybe mine just looks really hot because the black housing headlights look dope with the labrador black. i dunno, i don't think the ralliart's ugly. sorry to go off topic.

 

I like the front end, headlights are awesome I don't know how people can dislike them.

 

Did you make the black housing Headlamps yourself or buy them?

Are yours not black? I thought all RA's came with black headlamps.

 

nope, reflector is silver/chrome with a grey surrounding stuff <---very technical term

 

I guess it would be the euro version headlamps.

 

Its stock only if you choose that option and pay for it. Im still waiting for mine.......
