Finished Custom Kit and tests

Hi guys just finished tunning my turbo kit . The kit consists of custom exh manifold, T3/4e turbo, RRM piggyback my custom tune flash, 720cc injectors, stock fuel system, large intercooler, 2.5 exh, set at 8psi. Last Saturday the car dynoed at 8psi 253whp with 12.3A/f and then I tunned it down to 241whp at 11.6A/F for safety and clutch life. The car started to slip clutch atfter 5k rpms so I didn't try to push more boost to get more power. Last night I went to the track to get a baseline with stock clutch and the car made 14.24 at 101mph with 2.38 60ft with the clutch slipping top third and fourth gear. After that I tried to better the times but the clutch was slipping maddly in 4th and droped 3mph and times where 14.4 98mph. I am happy with the results bc's I know that with notting more than performance clutch and good tires the car would hit 13.8-7 with 103-4mph at 8psi.
Whould post the slips and dyno when scanned.. Other note RickyPR with his N/A RA hit 14.7 92mph drag radials Injen, custom downpipe and some weight redux..

keep us posted, but why didn't you install a stronger clutch when the turbo was put in?

Me thinks I should go on a vacation to PR. They seem to REALLY be on top of the Ralliart Tuning down there.

Look at how many tuners and custom fab guys they have down there compared to pretty well ONE vendor here....RRM.

I thought that i was going to handle 8psi. The car pulls hard to redline while the stocker drops at 6,000rpms max power was at 6.4krpms. Probably with 12psi and clutch safely 275-285whp maybe more.

did you just use the standard rrm piggyback for air/fuel, or did u get ahold of their turbo unit to handle timing?

I use the standard RRM piggy with the R4 software but its a pain in the a$$ to calibrate with big injectors. Would have used a PSC1 for boost aplication adjusting or enrichment by boost. Got a great deal on the Piggy.

PR Mivec, the one that ran on monday wasn't me. I ran tuesday night from what I'm told both cars look almost the same. The one that ran monday has microtech and deleted trottle by wire. I will have to put some sticker or change wheels to make it different and people dont get confused. Anyways hope to se you soon at the track.. RA representing.
