Question for turbo guys
Hey guys whats up, i have all the components i need now to throw my turbo in. Just want to know if any of you guys who used a T4 if you had to relocate your AC or get a custom AC fan made that is smaller, just want to know befor ei start ripping my car apart to install it all then having this delema. Thanks for your help guys. Oh can u PM me because i check my PM's more then the forumn, thanks guys your help is much appreciated.
i will be installing a T3/T4 on mine in the spring, i did a test fit with my manifold i fabricated and the only thing i have to move is the bleeder valve on the clutch slave cylinder,it's in the way,so i'm just gonna use a plug insted, also i have a 3" air inlet and there is no problem for space

How many inches does your manifold stick out from your engine mine sorta sticks out far i am worried it might hit my AC fan, but yeah that would be great if you could tell me how that went, thanks man, any other peoples comments are greatly appreciated to thanks guys
if the fan is an issue just remove it and install a slim push fan on the other side of the ac condensor behind the bumper. That should work out just fine and give you plenty of room... some even remove both and put slim fans on the outside in order to make it look more roomy and clean.
As for just putting a plug in your clutch bleed location... good luck. When you pull out the bleader you'll put air back in the system... then you're clutch won't work. Oh... just in case you think you could just pull it out and throw a plug in real fast... you won't be able to do it fast enough.
What you could do is get a tee to put in the other side... then with the tee installed one connection could be made via a stainless steel clutch line(stocker one won't bend well enough to reinstall) and the other part of the tee can get the new bleeder valve assembly installed. You won't be able to reuse your regular bleeder as it works by sealing on a machined surface. You could als have a custom tee made so you could reuse your stocker stuff but this may be to costly an option unless you can do the work yourself on a mill.
Hope this helps...

Some of the best prices i've seen on fans and i've used many of them... SPAL's... they are really good fans.
Just be sure to measure the area to ensure you can fit them in there... believe the 10" fans are perfect for the lancer. If you measure bigger than get bigger as you want the biggest possible for maximum cooling.
These fans outflow the stockers by a lot but the more the better!
