I know, but my only other option is to get the RRM kit, i would have it instaled, plus a carbon fiber hood, for 5000...which isnt too bad considering the kit is 4200 plus shipping... However like i said, for that amount of money i wouldnt be happy with just 215whp. He also said he will give me a differnt BOV and Injectors... not sure if that will make a difference. What would i have to do to the RRM kit to get it to around 250 whp?

lol dude with 5,000 I could make my RA run faster than an evo. Take the money and buy the RRM kit its better; with the other 1,000 buy some beers and your c/f hood and watch them install the kit for ya. If you were in PR I would help you, cause I got my header for only 325 bucks lol. I'll post pics laterz showing the turbo manifold.

Add methanol to the RRM kit and they'll send you a map for it for free, too.

OK well its been awhile, but the guy decided to get the RRM kit, and he is prety much stuck with the parts from the turbo eclipse setup he ordered. So according to him, he is going to used most of the rrm kit, but change a few things like the BOV and Injectors if i understand him correctly. I have no clue what kind of preformace difference thats going to be, but from the ppl i talked to with the RRm kit they acknolaged that the RRM kit's bov doesnt have the best sound, i really do enjoy a nice sounding blow off. Car goes in Monday he said it will take about a week, kinda slow for a kit thats just a bolt on...but hes claiming to be doing a lot of extra things with it, well see if that actually happens. I will post dyno and pics as soon as a get them. P.s. Blew my cluth after only one year......from teaching everyone in the neighbiorhood how to drive, if im not mistaken cause i got another stock cluth...plus the turbo i should be expecting to have to get a new cluth soon, any word on a stage 2 cluth?

That's almost exactly as much as RRM's kit is making.

How many psi is yours boosted?

Well BOV don't make any difference in a turbo setup. The only way to have more hp is by adding more boost to the kit or installing a hybrid turbo.

he could be having trouble adjusting the fuel and ignition ratios so as to not cause any damage at least he is taking it slowly and rushing in like a fool and cause any problems - having a good BOV is exentual so as to not cause any boost spikes

BOV... Boost spikes?? Could you enlighten us to how the BOV effects a boost spike.

If it's the RRM kit i'd tell him to leave it alone... add the alky kit for like 300 bucks and RRM will give you the map. Then you'll have around 250whp and 260wtq nice and safe.

Soon RRM will hit the dyno again and raise the boost levels for sure. After that they'll make that map available. All you have to do is wait and let them do the work for you. Then you're sure to be safe.

Your tuner sounds a little hoky to me bro.

your shop just sucks, thats all I have to say. They should pay for what is missing, the turbo manifold, because they are the one to make that stupid decision.

And clocked in at 210whp? Thats far away from what they have promised, please dont risk your car, dont need to see another RA blow up

Only problem is RPW is in Australia and shipping takes a long time! It's been 3 months since I ordered a Throttle body gasket for my car and it's still not here. I honestly would go with RRM if they had the throttle body gasket and if RRM could sell individual parts from their turbo kit im sure just the parts alone they would make a lot. Im sorry if I sound like an unhappy customer it's because I am right now.
