Turbo Mainifold Help!!!!!

Help needed a.s.a.p. I brought my car to the shop to get a custom turbo setup. The original problem from the jump was gonna be the mainifold. The guy from the shop ordered the turbo from a 2.4L eclipse thinking it is going to fit....kinda made sense. Problem now is the flange or something is too close, he says it needs to be about a foot apart and its only 4 inches.... i have no clue what hes talking about at all really. BUt he is saying to cutom make it, it will cost 1000 more nd 3-4 weeks to make. So can I buy a turbo mainifold to fit the 2.4L, or does any one have any sugestions, i been waiting 2 months already....and i know ppl will say u should have went to RRM, very true and it would have been done, but the shop says the will get to 280whp dynoed with that setup they have....plsu instalation and a carbon fiber hood, for only 5000. That kit if anyone wants to see it is on www.turbo-kits.com

no company makes a turbo manifold for our car. THEY MUST BE CUSTOM MADE. 800$ is a normal price for a custom made manifold. try and talk em down.

Well hes trying to keep the price high cause he messed up. He ordered a kit that comes with the mainifold, if he didnt maby he could have saved money by just having the whole setup custom.

no idea about the srt-4 manifold, but rpw IS/has made a turbo manifold and they do offer the option to buy just a manifold. You may want to contact them and find out how close they are to being finished.

I would hop on that, but after shipping from pr, might run about the same price. I jsut talked to the ppl at the shop again, he said he will do all this and that with the custom manifold, and he is garenteeing 300whp...but another 1000, after i already gave him 5000, which i had to take out a loan for... i dont know if its worth the money or i should just get my money back and try another shop?

Can the stock internals really Handle 300 hp? I mean it is sure simple to go the RRM route, however 215hp for 5000, when i should be around 170-180... it just dont seem worth the money...hey pr, is it really just that simple to cut the flange and make a new one?
