in reference to the RRM turbo kit

would it be possible to buy it in pieces ever instead of the whole kit?

they would have to be willing... and i would look into the RRM fuel management... thats the hardest part...

manifold, downpipe, "oil kit?" and fuel managment? your pretty much getting everything but the turbine, intercooler, and piping (gonna need custom piping, or RRM'S) your getting 75% of the RRM kit............

well the intercooler is too big for 245hp, i cant see paying more than i need to on that and i probably can find the turbo for cheaper.

doubtful they would sell it in pieces, and if they did it would be more expensive for you to purchase that way. You would be better of fabbing up a completely custom kit, and you could save lot's more money than buying a partial and some pieces and still have to do fab work.

Call them directly and ask. They didn't used to, but the Lancer guys asked for it enough and RRM eventually gave in. It might be the same case with the Ralliart.

RRM does sell a 4G69 exhaust flange, which is really helpful to the DIY people.

i might be looking into just getting the turbo setup - all the bits, turbo, oil, fuel managemnt, but minus the IC stuff, to save on shipping hopefully and just get it made locally (this is to AUS btw)
and also with larger injectors, not 5th

do u know whats lame, there is a new law coming in at june 30th 07, that P platers cannot drive high power vehicles - 125kw to the tonne
and with the kit its about 185kw(~250hp) to 1275kg = 145kw/tonne :S

im thinking of still getting it, and put a mesh grill or somehthing to hide the IC and not drive like an idiot, coz its 3 demerit points and up to $1100 fine ...
so what should i do ...

Not get it, because then if you get caught, thats probably 1/3 of your turbo kit.
