Anyone else getting RRM turbo?

i've finally come across some money and can actually afford buying a kit now. i drive an auto and planning on keeping it for a while as a daily driver. originally, i was just gonna keep it n/a and get all the bolt on parts. but after buying a few parts, i've come to the conclusion that they are not worth it. not gonna lie, my car is pretty slow and i seriously think i will get this turbo on before the summer is over. anyone else trying to get one too? maybe we can do another group buy

Save your money, and put it towards something better then buying a turbo kit for your Lancer. Trust me i was the same way when i thought my Accord with h22 swap was slow.

not going there, custom is cheaper. Are you smart? If you can do custom you can take the excess money and beef up brakes and suspension.

I think many people consider building a custom kit, much like Dan is doing right now. Lots of reads on these forums as well as other forums are often inspiring. However when it comes time to actually go through with it, very few have the connections/hook-ups to get it done. And the research is not all that simple. Custom will save money and earn you great rep, but personally I did not have the time, the smarts, the skills, the place or the people to go through. Therefore I go to the vendors.

+1, i would love to do a custom kit, just a lil hazy on areas and rather have a kit that has been proven - though mine may be half custom

i should be in for a 'group buy' if we can get one going, really just waiting on tax back and also i dont want the whole kit, just everything minus the intercooler and intercooler piping
also i dont want the 5th injector method, rather 4 larger injectors

+1 I would also be interested in a group buy,
I just dont have the time to do more research on the fuel management. But for a lower price on the Turbo Kit, I would def. be interested.

how bout it rock...?

I'll pass, i'll go custom in a year. Just too lazy to pull connections to do it. I have friends who will help me with it all, i just don't know what to do as far as the manifold... the fuel system is just a matter of toying around and experience according to my friend who did his own setups on all his cars, though his first car blew up... Also would much rather go with a 4 large injector setup, but we'll see. If RRM sells just the manifold i might be interested in it but i doubt they do.

fuel is easy according to the PR guys, and stock base WRX injectors(light blue- flow around 400CC or so) fit our car so there you go!
