unless your car is going to be run super hard and tracked you're not needing one. it would be nice but if you idled your car for 30secs-1 minute you won't need it. i did the research and i'd rather park my car in gear than have the timer.

the point of the turbo timer is to not bake the oil in your return lines.

I know
But it seems our cars run extreamly hot...
Ive read up to 1k on my egt . That seems kinda hot..
It also keeps the oil in the turbo to cool it after you have driven it.
Its a relatively cheap mod an i dont think it could hurt at all.
Our oil pumps are not made to supply a turbo thats why we have to run a heavier weight oil now.

From what I've heard, our ignition harness is the same as the Evos, but I can't verify that.

I asked RRM this question about a year ago. They sold me a greddy turbo timer, and it came with a ralliart harness. All we had to do to install it was plug it in.... 25 minutes tops.... ask rock what kind of harness they used, or if you can buy it off them...

and yea you should use a turbo timer. better safe than sorry. My turbo timer is the most convienient mod i have done to my car. Especially them cold winter nights when I dont feel liek sitting in my car that extra minute to shut if off

HKS turbo timer type 0 is I think 90 plus a $ 14 harness less than 30 minute install. I just did mine last weekend. The last thing you want is your lines clogged. Also since the turbo isn't watercooled they do suggest a timer.

Welcome back? haha i didnt go anywhere, i was wrongly accused! It's all settled now. I like that turbo timer, it matches good with the gauges. I got a blue Turbo timer with red gauges. it looks nice but doesnt match. O well. I like where you put it to. Same as me lol. Great minds think alike.
