forged rods

there are rods for the ralliart??? how much psi this motor can support with stud, and forge piston..?

Check out some of Turbo Tech P.R.'s posts, I don't quite remember, but TT says what he was using. I believe the rods work from a 2g eclipse.

they should, but from what ive heard our stock rods are forged so you would only need forged pistons. check around this section b/c theres some topics that explain in better detail.

oh, i just noticed you have an oz, you might want to check the US lancer section for help.

i blew my motor to. hehe

My piston shattered, and my rod looked like a pretzle. Plus our rods are shapped think on the outside, but paper thin on the inside. If you get anything custom made, get rods and pistons. But if you just piece stuff together from other motors, good luck.

What PSI were you guys running when they blew ? What reason I guess is what I'm after for prevention sake lol...my kit goes in early next month ?

my dumbass switch lines around, and i was probly near the 20-30psi mark when she blew. I didnt have a guage at the time, but all i felt was tourque, tourque, tourque, and BAAAAAMMMMMM clunk clunk clunk KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK pppffffftttttttssssss.... the end.
