Finally an update just got the car back.... Idle problem was caused by the gasket coming off the boost side of the turbo, so now the car actually idles again!!!! but of course now I have a whine coming from my turbo when it spools up. Any ideas what that could be. The turbo was fine then i didn't drive the car in boost for about 3 weeks does that have something to do with it??? The car actually sounds like it could be a supercharged when going into boost.

 

what would you say for someone who is having the same prob but doesnt have a turbo...aka me

 

^ MAF or vac leak, as for her with the turbo maby ur low on oil and its not picking up but i dont nknow how rrm did there oil pickup bearings make winding sounds when they are going bad somtimes or you could have a really close tollerance somewere and its rubbing, ORRR air could be making that sound rushing by the turbo blades.

one more thing does it come from the turbo spooling or the rpm of ur car cause if the rpm of your car makes it then i would look at ur ac compressor mine craped out and was making noise like that.

 

i found out the prob, it was my tranmission, the gear kept getting caught and so it would think that its in first. therefore my car would alwasy die
