Ralliart with Evo Components

HELLOOOO RALLIARTIANS

i was always searching for someone who had thought or has done this project yet but since i haven't found it on any forums...so i'll share the idea & i need some advices & votes for what to be done & what's not !!!!

so the plan is to Install:1. Evo Full Cylinder head (w Intake Manifold )
2. EVO 7 GT-A Full turbo kit
3. Stand alone E-management (MEGASQUIRT )
4. Walbro Fuel Pump + 510cc Injectors
............... what do u think ??
considering the MIVEC ... Should i try to customize it to function again or what ??

according to what i have heard there is a ralliart in PR with an EVO head and has 439 HP to the wheels @ 35 psi. also it has mitsubishi mirage technica 2000 tranny...that's a great combination. you can go with the WRX STI injectors or if you have the megasquirt you can go with the EVO injectors. The EVO are low so you have to watch that out. But belive me it can be done. ...good luck.

woweeeeee 439 @ WHEEEEEEEELS !!!!!! dat is great ......
Manolo2011 Thx bro for confirming my project ....... i'll begin soon but i have a problem :S
b4 I install the megasquirt i'll install an EVO 4 ECU w its harness n MAF ( I HEARD IT's UNTUNABLE since i'll be runing my 2.4 block surely i'll need MORE FUEL & AIR in the mixture !!!!!) + I Won't Find the Mirage Technicha tranny in Egypt !!
anyways the car will still be able to handle 1 bar on stock internals
but i'll open 8-10 psi's maximum untill i buy internals
is there anylinks to ur Friends project ??

You should look around the forum and search it up for a while ... There's more cost effective ways to get that kind of power....439hp at 35psi the horsepower I like but it seems with that much boost it's near it's limit , which seems if done another route could easily yield more power. Like I said the idea is golden but it doesn't seem to be the best way to go. But by all means prove me wrong !!!

Hey Manolo2011 have you seen the car or "heard" about it ? Can you get ahold of the owner and/or the guy that did the work on it ? I would like to know more about this... Options are exactly that .. Options...

well guys i saw the car and know who the owner is. That's why he told me that. But I have only seen him once and was about a year ago. I will try to contact him. And your point about it not being the only way to get some power is true. There are some friends I KNOW that have +300 HP to the wheels with our engine head and block @ 15 psi with a megasquirt. If it would be me I wouldn't do it by changing to an EVO head and MAF...my friend and I are buying pistons and rods in August. I want to hit the 300-320 HP range. I don't know how much power you are trying to get RAMY, but remember that our cars engine even though is SOCH, is still more displacement than the evo plus the compression is higher so you can get more power with less boost. I will try to contact that guy of 439 HP but not promise anything cause he lives like 2 and a half hours away from me. Plus I'm in ATLANTA right now. As soon as I get back to PR in MAY I will try to find info for both of you guys. Take care. Also what you are trying to do is a lot of $$$$ and remember RELIABILITY is FIRST.

Hello guys I'm running my lancer with megasquirt with 550cc WRX injectors and the car gave me 336whp @ 12psi with a TO3/TO4 50/63 turbo and now I have mounted a 60-1 TO3 70/63 turbo last week and the car is feeling more aggresive. I;m waiting for the tune up to let you guys now how it goes. the computer is a great option for us;I'm running with it in about 7 months and the computer is running smooth. With little problems when I started with the megasquirt proyect but they are all resolved jejeje.

Hi again; yeah! I ensure you that those photos will appear soon. And by the way if you compare the ralliart head with evo one, there is a huge difference with the holes and everything. I've tried to do that kind of proyect in my car but it did't go because of that. Our engines have a lot of potential and it can do 400whp easy with a good ECU set up and engine components like pistons, rods and other things like that. Ralliarts to the top!!!!

Ahhhh! The Mitsubishi Innovate Valve Electronic Control (MIVEC) "works" with megasquirt fine. You need a 12V relay and a "NPN" transistor to do that . If you have any questions Ramy 4g69 just send a PM. Right now I have the MIVEC activating at 4200rpm because if you put that to open early, the voltage will drop dramatically. You will see it in your dyno graph too!!. The engine horsepower drops down and then he starts building up.
