New symptom:

A quick "rub/vibration" coming from my front brakes just before I come to a stop, both forward and backward. It almost feels like my ABS activating, which I've been dealing with since replacing my left front with a China knock-off, but no ABS light. Any ideas...slider needs relubricated, glazed brake pad from autocross???

Relatively new...those Nugeon Painted Calipers, what was it, a couple months ago for the front, and two months prior for the rear?

Car reminds me of the Star Tours transporters at Disneyland.

You need a star wars rebel alliance sticker on the car.

I don't think I like that red/black demarcation in the rear...darn it, maybe red'll look better?

ABS harness is the suspected culprit...

I said a "constant rub" but suspected otherwise. So, I removed the ABS fuse and that resolved the issue. Purchasing the ABS harness from China was a low risk, for they were stupid cheap for the pair, but obviously they're faulty. Now that I think of it, I don't recall the ABS activating once at the autocross...then again, I could be wrong for I was so pumped up. What it DOES do is keep the ABS light off, for the most part, and that could be beneficial come vehicle inspection time in November.

I Just came back from getting a coffee and on the way back, I thought of losing my brakes at the autocross. This lead me to think of changing between street and race pads come race day...I found a pretty legit article:
