After reading some of the Evo threads and learning about my greddy type s, I removed the inner/smaller spring on my bov and I'm amazed at how much better the car runs! the bov comes with 2 springs, a smaller one and a bigger one, one inside the other. with both in there was too much pressure on the valve and I know now that it was causing some compressor surge. I ditched one of the springs and now there is no hesitation between shifts, it idles a lot more steadily, and it actually 'blows off' immediately after letting off the gas without hesitation.

Just one step closer to a successful project, just FYI.

I just put on a 2 1/4 inch Tanabe mullfer with a custom axle-back pipe, looks and sounds deadly. I would recommend this muffler to anyone who likes the deep rumble sound as opposed to the ricy, 'high pitch ping' sound that civics make.

I kept the rest of the system stock for now since I'm not pushing 23 psi yet. Does anyone know how big the factory RA exhaust diameter is? 2 inch? 2 1/8 inch?

turbo guy nice job ,one recomendation intercooler and the outlet side of the waste gate is to close to the turbine side, that cause you a mayor back pressure when the waste gate opens. did you upgrade the fuel system-fuel pump, fuel press regulator, larger ingectors?you are a brave guy www.supercompacto.com
