Superchargers!!!!

there are two companies working on superchargers for the RA one is RIPP modifications out of staten island and the other is Datoo R out of ontario canada. The both have kits for the regular 2.0 L for less than a turbo kit and are both working on kits to be soon available for the 2.4 L mivec. check them out.

I'd like to see the Canada one... RIPP sucks. They tried one for the 2.0 lancer and have shown a real lack of support. They are talking about scrapping the project for the 2.0 due to lack of interest... it's only been a few months. Then a customer had an engine failure and they blame him? RIPP is out of my book now. Look at the canadians first.

Blah Blah Blah, Not RRM it sucks...Hey boe why did you sell your turbo and your car?
You say because it didnt have the potential you hoped and you are looking for something that you can make faster. I say that is BS. You made the wrong decisions on what to do to your car and are trying to save face by saying their products are great.

Quite frankly Im sick of your crap complaining about the compeditiors. It just makes RRM look worse.

The product isnt entirely at fault. It is also the drivers. I think RRM makes great products but I also think that RIPP mods makes a nice alternative.

BTW the Guy from Canada with the SC from Datoo R has had problems. Does that mean that Datoo R sucks too. Take your bashing and go to clubsi.com

First off FU@# you. Second off my car had about 16k invested into it and at a top of 268whp/274wtq i saw that getting 400+ reliably was just going to cost me way to much. I'm going back to V-8's.

Maybe you mistook my statement as sarcasm but it was honest... i'd rather see an SC from the canadian vendor than a RIPP kit for the lancer. If it were an eclipse or golant then RIPP leads the way with their SC's on those. That's my opinion of it. In the lancer... they suck!!

Maybe the canadians have had problems but atleast there not boasting ZERO engine failures... they have had one and they still have yet to change their statement. They blame ZOO for everything and it isn't all his fault. Their tune should have never allowed him to come close to blowing his motor. It was either too lean or didn't pull enough timing. Simple they messed up not ZOO. I support zoo and i know he's still with RIPP but he's invested in it so why not keep it. In the end they'll get it worked out. RIPP just tried to take over the world with a lot of empty promises. Now that they have only sold a handful of kits and had one failure they are trying to discontinue their kit... THAT SUCKS!!

By the way i never said anything about RRM or turbo in this post... i said to look at the canadian kit first as RIPP is out of business in my book.

Also i didn't sell my car... i gave it to my Girlfriend as she needs a dependable ride. But my money she has enough of so i sold everything in order to get me a V-8 i can play with a bit more and for less $$. Now go play with your thing off in the dark corner like the little adolescent you are.

at least you have a good sense of humor. Your alright danno... you come off harsh though. Hope you see i wasn't pimping or dissing the SC i just think RIPP has failed the lancer owners and i don't trust them with lancers anymore.

See I think RIPP is good and when i get enough money togeather thats the way iam planning on going. Do some comparitive driving with Noel (Lancer Canada, he has the only Turbo OZ in Canada) and see what system the car likes better. Course I would install mine myself because i dont trust others under my hood. Save me $$ too.

Hell ya... and RIPP said the kit is easier than the 3G eclipse install which i've done a few of. That was a pain so the lancer shouldn't be so hard. There is a lot more room under the lancer hood which helps i'm sure.

RIPP's price is super good but their reliability and power output has been in question now more than ever. If it works you will be happy i'm sure but just keep yourself opened for a turbo car beating you. They are more effective on 4cylinders. I'm hoping that RIPP's tuning experience will make that negligeable though. Their tuning is now in question also. Just hold out for a few months and see what happens. If they bail on the lancer then you'll know more the direction to take. Hopefully they'll turn this all around and get things going again.

Congrats zoo! What hoses are you talking about?? Fuel hoses?? Didn't they come in the kit? RIPP said it was the tune? I'm a little confused here... what really happened zoo?

I can't see why they would have wanted to discontinue the lancer SDS. I can see backing off the marketing if there isn't demand but not to dump the project. Glad to hear RIPP is staying in the game.

L... let me know when your ready to step out of the sand box and play with the big boys. Until you step up and go SC or TC keep your toys in the dirt box where they belong. Danno and me are big boys so we play nice and keep everything real!

I know that what i'm trying to say is what were they for and why didn't you get hoses from RIPP? Just asking for some details. Accidents happen... hell i've had well over my fair share. I won't bust on you for getting some cheap hose i'm just trying to figure out where/what part of the car the hose was for and if it was something you did modifying the kit.

i already have gone SC big boy. just waiting for my kit to arrive so i can install it. dont worry about ripp, they're doing just fine. they sold another lancer kit this past week (aside from me), and i'm pretty sure they'll be selling more kits in the future. they're not backing out or anything like that so you can take your rumors back to YOUR dirt box . you play nice? please....if its not rrm (when it comes to performance/FI parts) its crap according to you. i'll tell you whats crap, your way of thinking . now be a good little boy and welcome me to the FI club

wanted to add
i'm glad to see ripp ignoring your comments/questions. i'll be doing the same. obviously your not worth the time with that mentality.
