you go boy... ignorance is bliss they say... oh wait you said ignoring not ignorant

Congrats on your kit... hope it suits your desires. For me i'm going away from the 4 cyl. I'll probably SC my V-8 as SC's are the shiznit on V-8's.

As for the RRM comment... i'm biased in many ways but i still ask good ??'s and make the correct comments. You may see me as bashing them but i see it as making the truth come out. Look how long it took them to admit ZOO blew up his motor...hmmm... then how they say it's the tune and zoo said it some hoses... hmmm. Which hoses? What were they for? ZOO said they didn't come with the kit so why were they needed? I don't know of many hoses other than fuel lines that would hinder the fuel... the vacuum line to fuel regulator might as well but all those hoses come in the kit right? OH well i guess my ??'s are just to biased.

For those who read well they'll see i do make good comments about RIPP but i also ask straight forward ??'s. Why are my ??'s so bad. All they ask for is a truthful answer. Maybe if i was realy gullable and ignorant in the ways of tuning i'd buy some of the statements i hear. For now the truthful ones i take and the BS ones i attack.

Since you hit my biased side i wonder why GURU DEL's kit at 8psi auto has never had any problems... i'm not pulling timing at all on his car. I told him the day i gave it to him(2 days of tuning) to beat on it as it was plenty safe. Guess i should have waited 1000 miles to make sure it was broke in first. Guru's car drives beautifully and agianst an SC at the same boost... hahahahahahahhahahahahha!

wanted to add
i'm glad to see ripp ignoring your comments/questions. i'll be doing the same. obviously your not worth the time with that mentality.

On a serious note: L- please do post on your install and feeling about it. There are only a handful that have the kit and maybe 3 post regularly. ZOO's been the real PIMP for RIPP. I personally think all people are waiting on to purchase the kit is a little more feedback! Don't you?

hmmm maybe you should talk to RRM about those crappy hoses. How did a silicone hose have a problem?? Was it to your FMU/Fuel regulator ?? Can't see stock silicone hose causing your issue unless it blew off due to the boost you were running... which has never happened to me when i was boosting high. I'm waiving the BS flag on you zoo. Stick with RIPP's reason of the tune, it's 100% fool proof and seems honest.

cool thanks... i just don't know who to go with you or RIPP. I'd hate to think RIPP was wrong. You're not even being specific as to what happened.

You go Boe! Holdin your own plenty against these guys. I also believe that there are way too many questions out there about the ripp charger. Reason why not many people out there have it. Power output has also not been great compared to turbos in general, not even RRM's setup, but all turbo setups I've seen on here except for a few. RRM's setup is tried and true however as this has been discussed a hundred times on here. Thats my opinion.

Yeah but lets not bring RRM into this topic. Thanks for the support mboza79 it's truly appriciated. I'm just trying to keep things truthful and honest. Something with ZOO doesn't seem to add up. Everything about the motor blowing up has been vague except for RIPPs response. That was to the point and acceptable.

There are so many unanswered ??'s out there about the SC and RIPP isn't making a big effort as they want the "product to speak for itself!" Unfortunately that is whats hurting them. Not long ago they revealed that their hp/tq numbers required the use of underdrive pulleys that were not in the kit along with the intercooler(injection). Now those are a part of the kit as it was braught out and complained about. A kit that is 4G's should put down what they say... if you need other parts then they need to make the kit more $$ and include them. Otherwise people get mislead and have false info to compare to.

The RIPP kit is an excellent alternative for Lancer power in premise. Now lets see if it stands up to the test of putting down what RIPP preaches. RIPP has done some shady things in the past and this engine failure, semi-coverup, along with misrepresentative info about their kit has made a lot of people think twice about getting one. That and the customers that have the kit aren't posting enough.

Lets get dyno's and track times people. All other vendors get bashed for that why should RIPP be any different.

Ot

Boe: Sweet Going with the V8. I miss mine a lot. I had a 1992 Firebird, pulled out the 305, dropped in a 350 bored 30 over, worked over the 305 heads (lack of money to get new ones), roller rockers, nice loopy cam, edelebrock rpm airgap intake, Holly 750 mechanical double pumper carb, all going through a built th400 trans. wielded support bars along the unibody and built up the rear end. Oh it was so fun. I miss it "sniff' . Anyway Have fun with yours.

Thanks, i intend to... fortunate for me it has a crate motor already in it with the GT40 head/intake manifold. Nice Cam and roller rockers. It's EFI so i don't have to worry about the carb arena... just gotta get that TB to 65mm and it's on. The rest of the car is well built already with the exception of high flow cats and catback... has BBK headers already. That combo you mentioned sound good as well... i use to play with an old Monte Carlo... started with a 231V-6 ended with a 454-6pack tire roasting machine.... i miss that bigtime!!

After i'm all done i'll save and SC the sucker... should be able to get a 500whp daily driver out of her within a year.

I had a 69 pointiac beaumont SD with a 396 big block, sure it was fun, and with some work I did to it had well over 400 horsepower, but I had to put gas in the freaking thing every other day, it just doesnt make sense to have a V8 powerhouse as a daily driver unless you have more money than you know what to do with.

Oh ya, and this is waaaaaaaayyyyyy off topic let's get back to supercharging the ralliart and away from your name calling bullsh!t, and your I'm gonna get a V8 so you guys stop making fun of me crap.
