guys rrms turbo they said would be around the same price as the us lancer turbo kit which is 4 grand i think so it is alot cheaper then the one posted in this forum, and probobly adds more hp and better parts and quality, no affence to who ever made the turbo kit but your price is a little high coming from a company that is not reputable.

the essential speed kit /w the external wastegate is $4088 (US). They say 6psi /w 60-75HP gain. From what I can tell, they know there stuff as far as turbos are called, but dont know the RA like RRM. For what its worth, Ill wait for RRM and others. Anyone have the essential speed kit yet?

i think thatd be a good idea. rrm really focuses on lancers. they are theur top priority. they make great kits. they are tried adn true with 02-03s but that doesnt necessarily mean they will have the same results with the RA kits but obviously there is a very good chance.Originally Posted by blk-majik

There are no particular laws against forced induction in Canada, however you will loose your manufacture warranty - that is the only thing you have to bring in mind.

You'll have to watch out for any laws regarding catalytic converters. I'm sure Canada has some kind of law about these.

Won't buy turbo till prices are reasonable. Hell you can get a custom turbo built for less than that site offers. If you want to spend the cash. I am personally dying to see tha price tag on RRM's turbo kit.
most of us don't do it on purpose, sometimes we just get lazy and keep clicking new posts and answer w/o realizing it. sorry for all you lancer owners from all of us evo owners that do it from time to time. also, no worries about mispelling. i speak perfect english and can spell great, but my keyboard is a little small cause its a sony v-505 and it's very compact.Originally Posted by RalliartCA

Is not about the catalytic converter, it is about the emission and cannot exceed 95 db of exhaust noise. By the way, turbo has nothing to do with catalytic converter.
