Rrm Sri

Hey! Got my short ram on Fri from RRM & installed that day... (Thinking of going N/A instead of turbo...) I've got the exhaust from them which was really easy to install & I've gotta say that the SRI was the same!!!
Super-easy it's very precise! It's unbelievable how smooth the install was...
I just want to give RRM some props because I've been so happy in every aspect in which I've dealt with them...
Keep up the good work!!!
You guys are the****!

I like rrm, but in all honesty the sri just didnt do it for me. I recognized nothing other than sound from it. Now the axleback on the other hand sounded great, but again no performance gains.

Q: what made you decide to go with the SRI vs. the CAI? Out of curiosity. I'm thinking of going with the CAI.

Auto no CAI available... That's pretty much it...
Anyway... I get a little bit smoother ride & better response when I get on it, but I do have Intake/Exhaust combo... The intake is just to hold me over until I figure if I want to get piggy/downpipe & go N/A... Or just ***** up & turbo the thing...

I'm thinking option 2 but either way I'm going to RRM for everything, that's for sure!!!

Thanks for the explanation.

My plan is to go intake, exhaust, piggyback, all from RRM. Not sure if I should wait to get the piggyback until after the other mods are bolted on. Will the piggyback re-calibrate the settings as mods are added or should they be on first?

*sorry for the potential hijack*

You can do it either way. The piggy will give you good gains with or without upgraded intake/exhaust. You'll just get a bit more with the other upgrades.

BASTARD-*** HIJACKER... Just kidding...

I believe RRM tuned their piggyback for those mods... Also if you're going N/A you may want to check out their downpipe!!!
If you're about being legal for emissions or what not it's been talked about having a muffer shop weld a high-flow cat in the downpipe...

Just a thought you could do a search on this stuff... it's all been kicked around 3million times

My main concern with the downpipe is voiding the warranty. I think I could deal with emissions, but if I lose that 10-year warranty I'll be pissed.

The way I rack up miles, it'll be a 3-year warranty, at best. I bought my car at the end of last June. A little over 6 months later, I'm very close to 20,000 miles.

Tell me about it!!!
I drive from Chicago, IL to Wisconsin Dells almost every weekend (as my friend has a house up there) that warranty doesn't concern me too much!!!
