i'd definately pay 100 dollars extra for the harness...it makes everything LOT easier...and when needs to be taken out...no trace for dealer 2 void warranty...and if any company makes it or is planning on making it...im down for it...cash...check...charge???

Same here. If there were a way to eliminate the evidence of it being there I would buy it all tomorrow.

let me go slower so that the rest of the group can follow the tour

the thing on the left (big gray bar) is called a "hood".. inside the hood there are three male connectors that look like this:

you will NEED to get the three male connectors and the hood to make this end of the harness

on the right you see the 3 yellow connectors?

so total you will need (to make one harness):

1 hood
3 male connectors
3 female connectors
wiring
and all the pins inside the actual connectors (the female and male pins are NOT included in the connector price)

when i say 500 connectors, what i mean is that the manufacturer packs ONE TYPE of connector in a box of 500 (you get 500 of the same connector in the same box) so for the 6 different connectors, you have to buy 6 boxes of 500 connectors..

And here I thought a Ralliart with a manual transmission had 4 and a Auto had 5... It now seems so easy to "snip snip"

Look at the top of this forum section (link in my sig, too). It'll tell you all about the RA ECU. Also, the manual and automatic RAs have the same physical ECU, just different programming, so both are 5 plug.

I hope it's good news cause I would love to have the ECU but I doubt I would get it unless I was sure I could hide it or switch it so I didn't blow my extended warrenty. So if you could help us out once again RRM there are more then a few of us more then interested and willing to pay a pretty penny for something like that. Either way thank you for even taking the time to listen to us.

i am only interested because don't want some stupid foo who install a piggy back and cheap out on gas (not just one or two tanks.. but run regular all the time) blows up the engine and make it hard for ME to get legit warranty work..

or installs the piggy wrong and blows up the ecu and then claim warranty.. etc

ok, if this happens, I would only be interested if it wasnt 'pre-built' so taht I could use it for more than the RRM ecu. IE: emanage, ApexI stuff, AEM stuff, megasquirt, etc. That would make life mich easier =) Harness pin inserts to make allow each pin to be either taped or jumped. a bit more complicated, but infinitly more useful yea, im a dreamer

Any word on if RRM is going to make them yet? I just got paid and it's burning a hole in my pocket! Let me give you money!!!!!! Good ol' green backs! Hmmm? Yeah it's smells goooooood! Just put out a harness in one hand and I'll put the nice tasty money in the other one.
You know money is like beer.... What can't it do?
