Somebody should write a how-to and explain all this thoroughly.

You allready know I'm interested! So are you saying the greddy harness' don't work? I allready have the injector/ignition harness for the emanage and hopefully RRM will make the jumper harness for the ecu soon. Please give me ANY info like switch settings you can. Please explain what you meant about the harness. Did you just make your own or can the greddy harness' be modified to work?

THANK YOU!!!! You're a life saver.

what differences umm woooom pssshhh lol umm lots haha....

no i didnt buy greddy harness cause its a waste of money u can just use a rx7 stereo plug for 10 bucks... thats what i meant.

i havent figureed out how to mdify the maf signal just the map and theres a way around it all to just control injector duty cycle and timming etc.

Thanks

I may be wrong but isn't that what the 5 screws next to the usb cable for? Or do they only adjust the rpms that the airflow is adjusted? I don't know if they work independantly of the maps or in conjunction with them. I haven't even taken all my stuff out of the bags yet and haven't had the time to search through engrish version of the manual.
edit: I know you tried to hook up MIVEC throught the Vtec controller and said it didn't/couldn't work. I'm just curious if you tried the crank position wire or the cam position wire or both? I just remembered looking on the yahoo forums and I thought they had it written wrong (crank PS wire). The write up was for older JDM lancers with MIVEC and a completely different harness but I thought I'd try one last ditch effort anyway...

Hey that's why I asked! Although it looks like they adjust the rpm setpoints for MAF adjustments. That's a mouthful! I think they set the setpoint in rpm that the emanage will be altering the maf for. Is that closer? I've allready got the laptop loaded up. I've been waiting for RRM to decide if they're going to make a jump harness so I don't have to hack into mine. Whose cable did you use? Greddy, gilligan's or Simon's? Just curious if you had any problems with communication.

Well all this info is gonna help me out, i'm going tubo as well soon, but i'm gonna try a diiferent aproche, 1st i'm gonna use a Eclipse MAF, 2end gonna use 60lbs injectors & 255lph pump, 3erd AFC controller, 4th an FMU, then will see if i really need a e-manage, i've been talking to a few experts and they say that with all that i should be coverd and not have to use a ECU piggy back of any sorts, so i will see when i get my T3/T4 up and running, i'll keep all you guys posted on my progress.

FMU??? we have no return lines on our cars stock
AFC? is a piggy back computer that noone could get to work as of yet

I will personally guarantee that you need to pull timing for boost on the Ralliart. I some spots in MIVEC the timining is about 25 degree's advanced. Try boosting on that, even on race gas, and you'll be needing pistons soon!!
