How will this affect fuel consumption during normal driving conditions?

Fuel consumption will remain the same... the only difference you'll get in fuel consumption will be by your driving style. This rail doesn't make the car change injector duty cycle... it just makes sure the fuel is there for the demand on the engine. Most have reported better mileage since the car now makes better power up top and doesn't need to be mashed on to get you going.

The Honda rail on thisd page originally referenced in this link is $69.95, I am sure if someone still contacted this shop they would make one for the RA for less than $100 with rnough interested people. Just a thought, but $199 for a rail is a bit steep for some.

yeah i already talked to them i need a xtra fuel rail they want us to send them one so the guy can look at it and get all the measurments off it , so if you got on call them and tell them you are sending it in so they can get everything they need.as far as price he said he would work out a price with us but when need to get about 7 people , so i guess we will start a sign up.

Called em... those rails come with AN fittings for supply/return. You'll have to modify your fuel lines to AN fittings... that's going to add to costs. They also said that they will not make a stock replacement style for the car. Those who want to have to upgrade the fuel lines and get an aftermarket FPR as well as run a return system good luck with the 69 dollar version. By the way they didn't know it was a returnless system you were talking about.

This doesn't add fuel to the engines combustion... it provides a supply to the injectors addiquite enough for the car's needs. Even though a piggy back tunes the car to reach a good AFR you'll find from the dyno that the AFR can still be jumpy especially in higher rpms. This is due to the inconsistancy of fuel supply/pressure at higher RPM's. The rail will elimanate that and make things more stable/even. This will result in a stronger more even pull/power band.

So, fuel consumption should stay about the same if you even add bigger injectors?

If you add bigger injectors you're obviously TCing or SCing... so in some cases you'll lose mpg. If tuned right on an TC setup you should get better gas mileage cruising and worse at full throttle. SC's usually have worse gas mileage due to always putting a load on the motor.

For NOS you don't upgrade injectors usually... all in all when upgrade injectors a good tuner will tune them out for cruising so you should get the same mpg if not better.
