My plans for mods....just called RRM :)
With what RRM gives you there shouldn't be any problems of clearance... Hang the exhaust on the stock hangers & you should be good to go!!!
I've installed & had it on for well over 3K miles & there's no melting/touching/paint discoloring going on...
If you need help you could post pics of the exhaust installed, or contact RRM

We had a really hard time with the U hanger... wondering if maybe that might be affecting it? I dunno... everything was bolted on correctly, the hangers are all were they should be, however I have to manually press down really hard on the tip of the exhaust in order to give it the clearance it requires. Obviously I can't be doing that with the motor running, so I don't really know how to proceed. I'll try to take some pics of under my car and post with an email to Rob.
Just bend the offending hanger until it clears. Most people haven't had clearance issues, but a couple have.
Normally, it would fit if you use the lower hole (unless you switch to aftermarket hangers), but it is kind of surprising if it doesn't clear when even using the upper mount hole.

On a side note, I set off my first car alarm yesterday. I was driving by a parked Civic in first and gunned it... Civic's alarm went off! I really love the exhaust from RRM...such a deep throaty sound... sounds amazing!
On yet another side note, I got my Injen CAI in the garage now, so I'm hoping that this weekend I'll be able to put my intake and piggyback on to get some serious power! Woohoo!
Hello, I was just reading though this thred. I'm sitting here very frustrated! after spending about 750.00 on my ralliart it sounds like a pos and dose not pull 1/2 as hard at low rpm as it did stock. My friend and I just put the Road//Race down pipe on my car yesterday. DONT BUY IT!! my car sounded as yours dose. with that sweet deep tone. and now it just sounds like a big POS! and I really dont feal any real power gain. I just got back from muffler man to see what they could do to help me with this problem now I'm spending and extra 120.00 for a high flow cat to be welded in place 8?/. this really sucks! becuase I allready spent 335.00 on the down pipe and had to wait over a month to get the damn thing! NOW I have to spen 120 more so total I'll have 455.00 into a mod that I cant feal the differance from!
I'm not a happy guy!
Allso after taking a month to come in after being told it would take about 9 days when I orderd it. they didnt even offter to up grade the shipping nor throw in a free decal that I asked for!! not a good way to make customers.
My advice to anyone with a still stock Ralliart leave the engine alone!!!
buy the lightest weight rims you can find!
up grade suspension brakes and tires
If u want more hp the only way its going to be worth your while is to get a turbo kit.
I wish my engine was still stock 8?/

Well, I've now installed the Injen intake along with the AEM bypass valve. The car sounds absolutely incredible in 5K+ RPM range. I've got people turning their heads on the street looking at my car as they here that shweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeft noise. Wow!
Very happy with the results. I did see a loss in low end torque in 2nd and up gears, like others, but if you drive hard, like me
, then once you are past 1st you ain't in the low end rpms very often! Love the sound and look of the intake. Everything was very high quality and was actually alot easier to install than I had anticipated.
I still have the problem of my exhaust hanging to high on the bumper. Its making noticeable damage now. I've got a yellow ralliart and right above the exhaust, the paint is yellow/black now

Now I have to bend the top bolt so that the rubber will be lower.... at least thats what I think I'll do..

Also, fixed the exhaust yesterday. There's only noticeable damage if you actually look under the bumper so I'm happy. Ended up going to Canadian Tire and buying a universal adjustable exhaust mount. Drilled a hole in the rubber mount and mounted the new hanger upside down and forced it to roughly an inch of clearance. Looks alot better! One thing thats wierd though is that I had noticed a decrease in performance after installing my exhaust. I think that now I've gained that back... not sure if being stuck against the bumper was affecting it, but the car seems to have a bit more go since the exhaust's been fixed.

As far as the downpipe is concerned, be prepared for an obnoxiously loud vehicle after putting it on. I mean REALLY loud. Consider that before buying it.
* puddles is an understatment
