Installed Works high flow drop in filter

Hey, just installed the high flow air filter from Works. Throttle response is even better now and It feels a little quicker in the lower rpms. I haven't been on the highway yet but I think it will pull a little better there too. It seems my magnaflow sounds a little better also, but may just be me. Think it was a good purchase, I wanted a sri but it has been so hot here all summer I wanted to wait until I can get the carbon fiber hood with the vents.

Well, I'm sure he didn't just buy a SAI because a sharp metal object used in martial arts won't provide the best filtering for an intake. While it does stay pretty aerodynamic and it could be considered a cheap security device....may even be able to knock a couple bucks off your insurance while your at it. But either way, I'm pretty sure its not street legal.

^^ Ah that's hilarious. Where would you mount something like that though, wouldn't want it flying around while taking hard turns.

ahh so that's what a sai is.. i read it and kept thinking to myself that it sure don't sound like a car part.. more like a tool.. It came to me when i read daddymac's post... good stuff, but yea maybe he didn't want to bother with dealers giving you **** about the SRI or CAI... I mean no **** like it's voiding a warranty, they'll just ***** about it. Or at least the one i go to does...
