I received and installed my Ultimate Racing Axle Back Exhaust yesterday and it sounds great... Car feels a little more responsive and maybe a little, tiny bit more powerful... the install was really easy but it's a really tight fit... I had to use my hip to push as hard as I could to get the passenger side hanger bolt in... but after all that pushin it is more solid than the stock exhaust and fits better too... it kinda stinks but I think that is just the stuff burnin off the pipes... I'm gonna take a look at it to see if it is touching anything but I didn't see anything touching yesterday... The tip is very nice... it fills the exhaust cut out pretty good... it's loud but not like a bunch of bees... more of a rumbly noise... and if you let it rev high and then let off the gas it sounds awesome... I will take pictures tomorrow...

Way to go. How does it compare to the popular Magnaflow a lot of guys buy? I have the Mag and am really happy with it. Nice deep tone. Enjoy.

 

It uses the magnaflow muffler... so it probably sounds the same... I just wanted something different than the usual...

 

yeah i have one too..i love it. oh and the smell goes away its just some of the inside of the pipe or what not. it happened to me too but it all went away. now it just smells of sweet exaust fumes...lol

 

Actually the smell was the exhaust cooking my rear lip... it melted and I had to cut a chunk off... there is still some plastic boiling on the tip... but it's not noticable... it just melted the underside where the cut out is... I cut it out with a dremel and you can barely tell... I had to add a small hanger to use as a spacer to push the exhaust over about a 1/4" so it wasn't touching the bumper... but it sounds good... and no matter what anyone says I feel some top end pull... I didn't have time to take any pics...

How much was it? On Ultimate-Racing.com it's like $300.

 

Well... ultimate-racing quoted me like 340 shipped cause it comes from canada... but I ordered it through www.z1auto.com and it was about 20 dollars cheaper...

 

Ahh, yeah because I can't find it for anything on that site. It looks good though! And I have to buy something quieter because the A'Pexi and my kamikaze headers hate each other. And make angry bee noises.

 

If you go to Ultimate-Racing and look under distributors you will see them... You have to call and talk to Adam... I'm the first one with a RA to buy from them...
