I got AEM cause I am an AEM fan......But they really are all the same as far a gains.
RRM is a one piece.
Injen and AEM are 2 piece.
Injen does not need cutting if you are going to add a bypass.
AEM will need cutting if you will add a bypass.
Do not worry about hydro lock unless you plan on running the car through a foot or more of standing water.

Just my 2 cents before the post gets locked by a Mod.

From what I have seen.....anywhere from 5-9 (for any CAI).....all gains above the MIVEC point (3500 RPM). A slight loss at lower RPM (you don't really miss it). You can really feel the pull once the MIVEC kicks....and it makes a rather impressive roar too!

Disclaimer.....I have not done any before and after dyno runs....so HP gain is a pure guess.

RRM will tell you that their system will result in the most power, this is from independent people running a competiors intake and then RRM's. The RRM unit is the most simple of all that I have seen.

found a good article comparing a bunch of CAI's. As you can see, they are not all the same with power coming at different points in the rpm range. No RRM reviewed as this was not done with a ralliart but it gives you an idea of the variance from one to the next. http://www.tprmag.com/issue/1/ca-results.shtml . Personally, I would go AEM for sure.

Not true, the size must be optimized for the MAF sensor and too large if an intake will slow the air down.

yeah, lot's of engineering goes into the development of intake parts. even the chambers built into our intake have to do with performance and noise cancellation. air vibrates easily and negative vibrations result without calculating resonance frequencies....blah.blah.blah Sorry, just don't try and make your own.

you could have your own intake made. but then again, it would not be the best that you could get. but then again, i can't see myself paying over $200 for a cai.
