is this software different than the split second software thats been out for ages? will it work with any other split second piggybacks? if its different, how so? (IE: what does it have that the split seconds does and vice versa).

BTW, i'll be sending my dead piggyback soon. Was away for the holidays

dont we need the wideband too if we already have the PB? or is that just extra to mess with AFRs?

If you want to tune yourself then you should be using a wideband.

Rock I have a couple of questions regarding this.

You mentioned cars on their last legs...
Lately my car has been going through oil (03 OZ). It seems that it is going through my PCV valve and being tossed back in to my Throtal Body. Is a simple PCV valve change going to correct this or do I have a more serious problem? I drive my car spiritedly but do the regular maintance on it. I have 154,000KM on it. (apx 95,5XX Miles).

The next question is; will I be able to change my rev limiter, and adjust for different fuel types.

I have only glanced over your tech sheet and problaby missed this stuff but I will read it in more detail later this evening.

You sound like you have other issues going on... don't know what exactly but eating oil situation needs to be figured out.

As for your engine safety... that's why the box comes with a pre-tune map. That way you ARE safe. Tuning on your own is always a risk. It's the price we pay RRM for their backing and safety gaurantee.

^ Ya I realised that much....Im trying to figure out if the my engine is still okay to tune agressivly or not. Everything seems mechanically to work fine on my engine aside from the oil thing.

compression check... leak down check... if it passes it's fine. Oil issue is from something else other than blowby/wear.

Its not blow by or wear, I have done a leak down and a compression test and it was fine.

then you're motor should be good to go... figure out how the oil is getting out and you'll be set. It's either a leak or a leak from what i'm hearing.
