I was waiting for that other guys damper to get finished, but after seeing the proto-types and his estimated cost ($165) i have order the northstar one. I really wanted a shock style ingalls stiffy type damper but none are available so this will have to do.

I thought he was joking also. Since he hasn't confirmed prices one way or the other I'm going to try not to jump to any conclusions. His (robs) brackets *look* like they could accomodate that engalls stiffy....don't they?

You're right though, for the money the solid motor mounts probably would be the way to go once getting into that price range.

The solid mounts aren't too bad anyway. I have had them for like two or maybe three weeks and I really enjoy it. It is mild unless you are actually starting the car. The car will shake quite a bit as it starts to turn over. The only other time you really feel a difference is when the car is under heavy load(WOT) it is quite a bit louder in the cabin and you can feel the engine more. Both of these I think are plusses because if you are modifying your daily driver the only time you really want to feel it is WOT.
