RRM Intake Manifold - Need Feedback

Hey everybody. I'm in the process of destroying my warranty, so I'm looking for some feedback from someone who has purchased the intake manifold from RRM. I have the underdrive pulley installed, the cold air intake on order, the short shifter on order, and I plan on buying the header/cat combo, if it has decent numbers, and the piggyback. Since I'm only going with bolt-ons, the manifold is the last thing that I need to get info on.
Thanks--

well when i just had the CAI and Pully i felt some good gains with the IM. pulled harder from Mivec to the red zone. but of course with modding you would feel more power with combo mods. i.e CAI 3 HP alone, Catback 4HP alone, but combined together you may get up to 10 HP (not actual figures, just making a senario) but all in all buy it, i say its good for 300! now if your getting all those mods anyways you should definitely get it.

the gains are worth it specially with all the other stuff you're getting.

i recently had the oppertunity to drive my buddies ralliart, and he has just about everything on rrm's list of goodies besides the lsd , let me tell that car hauled a$$ , crisp clean quick throttle response and exceleration . you can feel hear and see the difference.
now i cant tell you the benefits of the intake manifold alone but all together it works great , it felt like whole different car. so basicly its up to you , plus it could only benefit you in the long run if your planing on doing a lot more performance mods in the future or going turbo.

i got the intake manifold. very nice difference.. better gains than the pulley and CAI intake, but not as big of a gain as the piggyback. You feel the difference at mivec and it pulls great, right up to 6800rpms... the higher rpm your at, the more of an hp gain you get, due to the increased air flow going through quicker and more at a time. This is deff. a complimentary mod, meaning the more stuff you have to your car, the more hp gains you'll get from this manifold. with the CAI intake, you should get 9-11 hp from this. (the intake probly gave you 7-9, so this is a lil better than intake) and o yea. i didnt notice a drop in power or lowend tourque anywhere, i think the gains were all over, or nuetral at the low end, but no loss in power.

BUT install is a b*tch. took me and my friend 6 hours to do it in the dark. and also, if you have the intake manifold sitting at your house, you really should install it ASAP. kinda srcrewing RRM over off quite a bit, plus your screwingv the guy over ^^^^ up here who is waiting for you.

Thanks for the great write up. Gains are noticable for sure. RA motor needs help breeathing lets say. Anyone with one and did not return core yet, PLEASE DO IT. We are always behind because people do not install it asap. It is not fair to other guys who are waiting.

no. all you need is the manifold they send you, and you use everything from the stock manifold. Just be careful removing the stockgasket cuz your gonna need it on the "new" manifold... the RRM is nothing but the stock ralliart manifold, just powder coated red, and ported and bored out for mor and better airflow...

and by the way... that was my ralliart they were talking about up there ^^^^^... thanks Tone for all the postive feedback on my ride and thanks rock for making the products
