Weird. Most RAs kick in at 6800.

Mine's over 7k. Not sure how far, because I'm usually watching the road closer than the tach, or I wouldn't have hit the limiter.

Mid 04.

Anybody outside of P.R. figure out how to defeat the rev limiter?

Yup, since 04 with a module on the ECU. Unfortunately, the person that invented it died. Had an accident at the track(Not in an RA). He basically had all injector running simultaneously after 5000 rpm, and eliminating the rev limiter when the car was at WOT. But only at WOT, anything under that and the car would limit at 5000 rpm.

Still, I think that shop still runs. I have to check. Im not interested in running it, but I have it on the Mirage. Oh, it can also be tuned with a Wideband.

Its the way to go when the Stage 3 cam comes out and if revving past 6900 is needed.

of course im not sitting there revving my motor til it hits, its just from "spirited driving" and being more worried about the road than the car, thats the only time i hit it, its only been a couple times.

yeah my car doesnt hit til about 7100. would that have anything to do with the break in of the car?
