Loss OF Power Almost Stalls

Hey here is the new scoop on whats going on,
when i take of fast at a light, it almost feels like i am about to stall, but the needle still climbs to the higher rpms, when i hit about 3.5 k rpm's then i feel like i have my power back. It just started doing that like a few days ago.
it happens for about 15 mins when i first start it up ( i let it idle for about 5mins till it reacheas a good temp to drive it
I asked around and my budies said they have no idea, so maybe you guys can help me

thanks

did you get a check engine light from your cai? i did and can't shake it. i took it to the dealer and they said it was running dangerously lean. maybe you car is suffering my same fate, because i could sometimes feel a pause before my car would give a go.

I am assuming that it only started when the CAI is installed? If this is so, check the installation again. Check the surrounding wires and wire harness have not come loose or detached. Ensure that the rubber hosing for the CAI is not leaking.

Did you reset your ECU after the installation? It would be good as some cars do not react well to CAI installation without resetting the ECU.

I'd just put the stocker back on and if it stops, reinstall the intake and make sure you didn't do anything wrong, if it still does it bring it to the dealership.

cam sensor, mivec sensor, and coolant temp sensors are around that part of the engine. it would be good measure to just check some harnesses in the area of install.
