@ 25,266.7 miles WTF!!!
needed to vent...
and a new one from the dealership since pepfkingboys, wa, autozone or such dont carry it
$330!!!! WTF!!!!!!
what is it made of fking GOLD!!!

should i just buy a new one or make a hibrid (reconstrucction)

sorry for the rant need to vent...

me neither i could ahve expected it to die maybe at 40k or at 50 at the most but 25?!!!

I would of thought that it would of lasted longer too... i am wondering if it is due to it's location and the heat that comes from that area - I know mine gets very hot in that area

This is scarey. I am hearing a squeek from the belt area, that squeeks with the speed of the motor. I can tell that it is at exactly every rotation of the belt because of a small white mark on the belt goes by every time at the exact same spot. It sounds like it is from somewhere around the alternator.... hmmmmmm

Unlikely, unless it was a bearing that went out in the alternator.

Why would a bearing be affected by the UDP? The belt tensioner still keeps the belt tightened up the same. I fear that my noise is a bearing noise.

update

berings were fine the regulator of the alternator (according to the rebuilder) was fried now why on earth it got fried dont know... the car didnt charged the battery at idle but it charged the battery at high rpms so hopefully by friday ill have it fixed...

under the premise that the 'new' speed 'of' the belt might frie it ,highly unlikely but posible on some cases

You Can Get One For ~60 Dollars. Even With Overnight Shipping That Is Only 100 Dollars. Why Get It Rebuilt? Buy A New One Off Car-parts.com !!!!!!!
